The BugaBees Book-a-Day Giveaway for Food Allergy Awareness Week!
The BugaBees know that missing out on certain foods, doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the fun. So in honor of Food Allergy Awareness Week, we have a fun little giveaway contest planned! Here's what you need to do:
- Post a comment on the BugaBees blog (right here) or on the BugaBees Facebook page anytime between May 9-15th
- EACH DAY one participant will be randomly selected to win an autographed copy of "The BugaBees: Friends with Food Allergies"
- All winners will announced on May 16th
- One comment per person, per day please :)
Good luck and go to it ... Help spread a little extra food allery awareness this week! I know of a few million kids who will be glad you did.
What a great giveaway! We get our copy from the library every other month or so. It would be great to have our own copy.
ReplyDeleteHi There! (Having a Fresca with my feet up). I enjoyed your reading at Listen to Your Mother today. (following your blog now too). I just started a Facebook page for kids/families in Madison: www.facebook.com/KidFriendlyMadison.I'll add your page as one of the favorites. Thanks for this blog and your mission!
ReplyDeleteVery much enjoyed your reading yesterday at the show! What a fantastic project you have here. I'd like to find this book for a friend of mine who's son has just been diagnosed with many many severe food allergies. I know she's feeling pretty overwhelmed right now. I'll be sure to share your site with her.
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! We just love your book!
ReplyDeleteI have been so interested in these books for my dairy/egg/peanut allergic daughter! Thanks for a great blog!
ReplyDeleteJust read about this book. It sounds wonderful. My Little Miss is dairy allergic and restricted from eggs & peanuts with the hope she will avoid developing those as well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great book! My little guy is allergic to all nuts. I'm going to look for these books for him.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this book looks so great for my little one! Never heard of it until now, what a great way to build awareness, it worked!
ReplyDeleteI have a 4yo allergic to wheat, barley, dairy, egg, peanut, tree nut, and a 2 yo with Celiac, and an infant that so far seems to be intolerant of dairy, eggs, peanut and tree nut. I am definitely going to check out this book!
ReplyDeleteYou book is so beautiful and it helps my 4 year old understand more about his little sister's food allergies.

ReplyDeleteHow awesome! Your book looks like so much fun for kids. I saw it briefly at an allergy conference but didn't get a chance to buy it! I have 2 children with allergies, but one has numerous ANA allergies. She is having a hard time right now with all the food focused parties at the end of the school year. This would be a perfect book for her! Blessings for thinking of the allergy kid community! I'll share this with our allergy group, too! Neceemama
